It's good to read about your survival and I admire you for it. My step-son had a break down at University and the Chancellot was the ballerins Margot Fonteyn. She spoke solely about tenacity on Degree day as being the quality the graduates needed most. It was very inspiring and I'm happy to say we
all survived a frighteneing experience.
Michele sent me.Pathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01529798893653033970noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19984125.post-31703150467540745642007-02-11T12:51:00.000-08:002007-02-11T12:51:00.000-08:00It is so important to not have your identity wrapp...It is so important to not have your identity wrapped up in something of this earth...this is all fleeting. I just refuse to give up.

But your descirption of your early days after high school sounds so much like my son. He doesn't have any vision of himself and he's going to be a very late bloomer. I have high hopes that eventually he'll find himself and what he's supposed to be doing, just as I did. There are terrible calls all the time, where you think 'I can't possibly fix this or do anything for this customer,' but having the tenacity to do it or make sure the customer gets to who they do need to talk to in order for what needs to be done to get done is the reason I'm still there after 5+ years! (I also happen to think that my un-pleasant marriage would have ended a lot sooner if not for both my own & my ex's stubbornness- I agree that it's not always a good thing!)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19984125.post-9782370130874681032007-02-10T08:59:00.000-08:002007-02-10T08:59:00.000-08:00After being on the receiving end of my third strai...After being on the receiving end of my third straight corporate buyout, I discovered that a strong sense of self-worth could take me a long way.

Life seems to test the best folks the hardest, doesn't it?carmilevyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00360045114379957605noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19984125.post-71670340459921330392007-02-10T07:58:00.000-08:002007-02-10T07:58:00.000-08:00Good for you, I've been made redundant twice in th...Good for you, I've been made redundant twice in the last year and I've just got a better job than either of the ones I've lost.
