Your taste is different from mine.

Anyhow, I liked your post. As a writer, I get many of my best ideas from the liminal states between waking and sleeping. It takes practice to learn how to retain that stuff, but it's worthwhile.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19984125.post-27071281997816903932009-02-07T22:05:00.000-08:002009-02-07T22:05:00.000-08:00Here's to awakenings and what they may bring. :)Th...Here's to awakenings and what they may bring. :)

The other day, I was driving along a country-ish highway and a few lines shot out of the creative side of my brain which tied in with the idea I wanted to write about....the ONLY thing I can do in those situations is pull over to the side of the road and capture them on a piece of paper. I hate it when I hear something so perfect in my head and am not able to remember later when I have time to write. The essence of the idea sometimes works, but the whole enchilada is far better.awarenesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06098432781380754899noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19984125.post-84771063400716081932009-02-07T18:09:00.000-08:002009-02-07T18:09:00.000-08:00I've had my moments of awakening as well Mike, and...I've had my moments of awakening as well Mike, and I really thank you for telling us about your experience.

I have a deep sense of being personally cared for - that I am a miniscule but important part of whatever this reality is, and that what I do and who I am is significant in a tiny way.

I appreciate that you examine your life in such detail, and go to the trouble of writing down your thoughts for us to read. Thank you.

Here from Tanyamwhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14674863172358966045noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19984125.post-30312535702540334382009-02-07T16:56:00.000-08:002009-02-07T16:56:00.000-08:00No scoffing here my friend. No scoffing here my friend.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19984125.post-26152326994451045192009-02-07T13:43:00.000-08:002009-02-07T13:43:00.000-08:00I like that last line, though like you I do not fe...I like that last line, though like you I do not feel fine at times.

I went and read the detailed post you linked too and a lot of what you said made sense to me. Some of it sounds almost primal and may indeed burn in some new circuits to one's perception.

I'm with you on recognising these situations and to adding them to the repertoire. I can't know whether it creates faith or spirituality, but I think it certainly heightens awareness and perception.

This could be a long discussion! I never discount the power of the brain, of our personal, untold experiences. Whether real or imagined, they happen n change us. They lend intensity to what some would dismiss as nothing.
Personally, I believe in other planes of existance due to amazing things I've experienced, so I would never discount your perception of an unexplained miracle while you were between "planes."
It can be difficult telling these things n be held up to scrutiny by folks who never had such an experience, therefore do not have the ability to accept it is possible. Perhaps it is even the truth, n we needed to know it, therefore it was made to happen for a divine reason we still don't know-Snaggle Toothhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07197042129309670471noreply@blogger.com
