well, perhaps this will get me booed out of the comments, but i would vote for her.
dak-ind ~ Welcome to my blog. As my header states, these are perspectives, purpose and opinions, and you are welcome to yours. I have not run into any disrespect on this site yet, so I wouldn't worry too much about getting booed out of the comments. You may, however, encounter opposing views.I post these quotes semi-regularly as they fall into the "perspectives" category. They neither endorse or oppose any policy or position - they're just thought provoking.~Mike
I just wonder how high on her 70 times 7 list ole' Bill is?
neal ~ indeed - and how often.
I dislike her intensely. But I'd vote for Christine Todd Whitman in a heartbeat. As for the forgive yada yada yada, what was she referring to? I'd be interested in knowing...
It doesn't really surprise me that she said this as she has a penchant for speaking out of turn, and has proved that many times over: Housewife/cookies comment in Bill's first bid for President, all the way to Senate/plantation remark just a few weeks ago at the MLK anniversary services. I was even a little put off by her big smiles at the funeral services for Coretta King. (This was right after Bill spoke about being in a room with the Presidents, past, current.... then looong pause and clapping while someone shouted out "future".)In my opinion, she lacks the gift of tact.
saur ~ Oh, I'm not too sure, but I could venture a guess....
ellen ~ Although I think it is perhaps the time for a female pres., I don't think she's the one.
in the Bible it says they asked Jesus how many times you should forgive, and he said 70 times 7. Well, I want you all to know that I'm keeping a chart. Well Hilary, the bible also says that true love keeps no record of wrongs.Hard to comprehend--even harder to put into practice.
I'm sure she's used to "forgiving" being married to Bill and all.Funny quote! The next presidential election will certainly be interesting!!
